When people use them
- Shopping — find out which size is really cheaper per unit, and whether a "40% off" label is a real discount.
- Dinners and trips with friends — split a total between people down to the last cent, so the money collected always matches the bill.
- Everyday money decisions — compare delivery with cooking at home, see how long your savings last, plan how to divide a paycheck, or find out when a payment plan ends.
- Dates and deadlines — count the days until an exam, a trip or a cancellation deadline, or find the date 100 days from now.
- Living and working in Korea — estimate take-home pay, social insurance, severance pay, unemployment benefit, parental leave benefit, housing property tax and part-time pay under Korean rules, and check a Seoul taxi fare, an electricity bill, an online-purchase return deadline or the legal cap when a deposit is converted to monthly rent.
How it works
There is nothing to sign up for or install. Open a tool and enter your numbers. What you type stays in your browser — it is not sent to a server or stored. If you use a tool often, add it to your home screen: on Android (Chrome) choose Install app from the menu, on iPhone (Safari) tap Share → Add to Home Screen. After the first visit it also works without an internet connection.
How the numbers are calculated
Every tool page shows the formula, a table of worked examples and the mistakes people commonly make. The example numbers are produced by the same code the calculator runs, so if you type them in yourself you get the same answer. Where a result depends on rules that change over time, the page says which rules and which date it uses.
